Our Aviation First Aid training course prepares crew members for on-board first aid situations. The aircrew’s knowledge of first aid can mean the difference between temporary or permanent injury, or the difference between life and death. Therefore, this course prepares participants for their role as crew member and enables them to handle first aid procedures. It ensures that attendees can respond effectively to a range of possible injuries and illnesses inflight and on the ground. Our Initial Aviation First Aid Course covers first-aid relevant to the aircraft type of operation and crew complement, including those situations where no cabin crew is on board.

 

Our Initial Aviation First Aid is designed for individuals who have never completed an Aviation First Aid course or for those whose training has expired and need to renew it. 


INITAL AVIATION FIRST AID CONTENT

 Duration: 1 day / Place of event: Berlin / Price: 390,00€ net p.P. 



 General Aviation First Aid:

  • Physiological effects of flying / Basic First Aid, patient check
  • In-flight Medical Emergencies / Common symptoms
  • Stress reactions / Hyperventilation and Hypoxie
  • Food poisoning, Allergies / Travel Health and Hygiene,
  • Stroke, Angina Pectoris, Heart Attack
  • Pregnancy - Birth of a baby on board


Specific equipment such as:

  • First Aid oxygen and First Aid Kit
  • Emergency Medical Kit


Practical exercises such as:

  • Addressing a sick, injured and unconscious person
  • Administering Oxygen, Choking (adult and infant)
  • Bleeding, wounds and fractures
  • Recovery Position and Rautek Manoeuvre
  • CPR (adult and infant) and use of an AED
  • Contamination of the skin/eyes
